Elle Event: TFI Birds of North America – Saturday, April 24th, 2010

After graduating from Ryerson University’s Fashion Design program in 2002, Hayley Gibson worked for several years in costuming and ran her own tailoring business for two years. In 2007, she created Birds of North America. In designing Birds of North America clothing, Hayley Gibson’s desire is to transform her perceptions and emotions, which are filtered through the uniquely constructed mesh of her aesthetic, into objects that can be experienced by others.
