Wedding photographers often cite wedding day stress, unreasonable couples & business formalities as reasons for disliking their line of work. Luckily for me, I love the challenge of wedding days – the more demanding a project is, the more focused I’ll force myself to be & I’m proud to say that nobody has higher expectations of my work than I do. On this particular wedding, I was fortunate enough to have a wonderful couple who fit perfectly with my laidback-but-no-nonsense approach. We didn’t have a lot of time to work with, both in terms of pre-planning & on the wedding day itself, but everything worked out beautifully as we headed over to Dundas Square to shoot some portraits following an intimate ceremony (featuring amaaazing wedding vows, I should add) at the Metropolitan Hotel. Plus, who said wedding couples were supposed to be this easygoing & flat out FUN?! On behalf of my lovely assistant Hanako (who did a great job as my 2nd shooter), congratulations to Candy & Jason – it’s clear that you are one of those magical, inspirational couples in love & it was a pleasure to photograph your wedding!
